10 REASONS WHY THE NYSL IS YOUR BEST ROUTE TO PRO BASEBALL
1. You may have gone to a small school and scouts overlooked you.
2. You were a "late bloomer" and scouts did not see you during your senior year.
3. You may have had an injury which prevented you from playing a crucial part of your collegiate career.
4. You played behind another good player and didn't get the look you needed.
5. Your team wasn't very good or the weather stunk so no scouts showed up.
6. A scout or your coach hoped to get you signed but that didn't work out.
7. Your game needs to be fine-tuned. You can hit the ball but are a sub-par defender. Or vice-versa.
8. If you are a catcher, your mechanics aren't as good as they need to be.
